The Global Leadership Summit: Get To Know Our Speakers (Part One)

The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is an annual event hosted live from Willow Creek Church outside of Chicago and is broadcast to satellite locations across the globe, including Warsaw, IN. 

This 2-day event brings together top-notch global leadership faculty, and C4One hosts the satellite location in Warsaw to bring this content to our city, community, and county.

Lead Where You Are

The theme of this year’s GLS event is “To Lead Where You Are”. That doesn’t mean being a CEO, manager, or certain high-ranking title, but it means you recognize your unique purpose and your desire to impact your surrounding community. 

We want to connect curious, growth-minded people together to ignite transformation, wherever they are and in whatever they do.

GLS is designed to do just that: bringing men and women from various industries and backgrounds to develop their insight and skills to drive a positive influence on the world around them. 

At GLS, you will experience actionable content from a diverse faculty to help cast your vision for a better future.

Secretary Condoleezza Rice

Director of The Hoover Institution, 66th Secretary of State, Author, Professor

Condoleezza Rice is the Director of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and a Senior Fellow on Public Policy. Secretary Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States and as President George W. Bush’s Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.

In 2022, she became a part-owner of the Denver Broncos and is Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. 

Secretary Rice is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has been awarded over 15 honorary doctorates. She has authored and co-authored numerous books, most recently To Build a Better World, co-authored with Philip Zelikow. Her other bestsellers include Extraordinary Ordinary People and No Higher Honor.

Pat Gelsinger

CEO of Intel Corporation

Patrick (Pat) Gelsinger is the Chief Executive Officer of Intel Corporation and serves on its board of directors. He also serves as chair of the board of directors of Mobileye, an Intel subsidiary.

Pat has more than four decades of technology leadership and experience driving innovation – dedicating 30 of those years to Intel in engineering and executive roles. 

Before returning to Intel in 2021, Gelsinger was President and CEO at EMC Corp. from 2009 to 2012, and CEO of VMware from 2012 to 2021. At VMware, he elevated the company to its spot as a global leader in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise mobility.

He managed the creation of key industry technologies like USB and Wi-Fi. He was the architect of the original 80486 processor, led 14 microprocessor programs, and played key roles in the Intel® CoreTM and Intel® Xeon® processor families. 

He is the recipient of multiple awards in the technology industry and holds eight patents across computer architecture, communications, and VLSI design.

Liz Bohannon

Founder of Sseko Designs, Author

Liz Bohannon is the founder of Sseko Designs, the author of the bestselling book Beginner’s Pluck: Build your Life of Purpose & Impact Now, and the host of the Plucking Up podcast.

Through her work in the fashion industry, Liz seeks to create educational and economic opportunities for women worldwide and infuse radical transparency and equity into the global supply chain.

Among other notable honors, Liz was named a top three Transformation Leader by John Maxwell, Forbes listed her as a top 20 public speaker in the U.S., and Bloomberg Businessweek named her a leading social entrepreneur to watch.

GLS will take place on August 3-4, streaming live from Chicago to our satellite location at Warsaw Community Church.
