The Global Leadership Summit: Get To Know Our Speakers (Part Three)

The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is an annual event hosted live from Willow Creek Church outside of Chicago and is broadcast to satellite locations across the globe, including Warsaw, IN. 

This 2-day event brings together top-notch global leadership faculty, and C4One hosts the satellite location in Warsaw to bring this content to our city, community, and county.

Lead Where You Are

The theme of this year’s GLS event is “To Lead Where You Are”. That doesn’t mean being a CEO, manager, or certain high-ranking title, but it means you recognize your unique purpose and your desire to impact your surrounding community. 

We want to connect curious, growth-minded people together to ignite transformation, wherever they are and in whatever they do. GLS is designed to do just that: bringing men and women from various industries and backgrounds to develop their insight and skills to drive a positive influence on the world around them.

Patrick Lencioni

Founder and President, The Table Group; Best-Selling Author

Patrick Lencioni is the founder and president of The Table Group, a firm dedicated to providing

organizations with ideas, products, and services that improve teamwork, clarity, and employee

engagement. 

Lencioni’s passion for organizations and the people who work in them is reflected

in his writing, speaking, and executive consulting. He is the author of 12 best-selling books with

over 7,000,000 copies sold. 

After more than 20 years in print, his classic book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, remains a fixture on national best-seller lists. His most recent book, The Six Types of Working Genius: A Better Way to Understand Your Gifts, Your Frustrations and Your Team, was released in September 2022 and was designed to help people find joy and energy in their work.

He is also the host of the popular business podcast, At the Table with Patrick Lencioni.

Cynt Marshall

CEO, Dallas Mavericks; Author

Cynt Marshall is the CEO of the Dallas Mavericks and has been a dynamic force for inclusion and diversity within the organization and over a 36-year career at AT&T. As the first African-American woman to lead an NBA team, Marshall guided the Mavs to become the standard for inclusion and diversity in the NBA. 

Prior to joining the Mavs, Marshall served as Senior Vice President – Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer at AT&T. Her work landed AT&T in the Top 3 on Diversity Inc’s Top 50 list of companies, and for the first time, placed AT&T on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, one of only two Fortune 50 companies. 

Marshall was named one of Adweek’s 30 Most Powerful Women in Sports and selected as one of the 2019 Women of Power Legacy Award honorees by Black Enterprise, among many other awards throughout her career. 

She is the author of You’ve Been Chosen, a memoir detailing how she has beaten the odds in both her personal and professional life, overcoming domestic violence, racial barriers, a cancer diagnosis, and more.

Jamie Kern Lima

Founder IT Cosmetics; New York Times Best-Selling Author

Jamie Kern Lima is a New York Times best-selling author and founder of IT Cosmetics, which

she started in her living room and grew the company into the largest luxury makeup brand in

the country. She sold the company to L’Oréal in a billion-dollar deal and became the first female

CEO of a brand in its 100+ year history. 

Her love for her customers and remarkable authenticity and belief eventually landed her on Forbes America’s Richest Self-Made Women list. She’s a mother of two and an active investor, speaker, and thought leader who is passionate about inspiring and elevating women. 

She’s also an active philanthropist who has funded leadership training in more than 200 prisons and shelters across the United States and has donated over $40 million in products and funds to help women face the effects of cancer with confidence. Her second book, WORTHY: How to Believe You Are, is scheduled to release in February 2024.

GLS will take place on August 3-4, streaming live from Chicago to our satellite location at Warsaw Community Church.
