Women in the Workplace with Suzie Light

This month, Women In The Workplace is thrilled to welcome Suzie Light as she speaks on: Where Is Your Leadership Hat? Join us as we learn from Suzie about how to be purposely engaged in our community while wearing multiple “hats” as mothers, businesswomen, wives, and more.

Lunch will be provided during Suzie’s presentation on April 17 in The Hub at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. Registration is required so we can plan accordingly. Please consider donating $10 when you arrive to help offset the cost of this event.

Bio
Suzie Light is the retired Chief Executive Officer of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, leading the foundation in that role from 1995 to 2020. Under her leadership, the Foundation grew assets from $400,000 to over $58 million.

She grew up as the oldest of 12 children and credits her family, church, Girl Scouts and 4H as formative experiences in establishing strong values as she grew up. She has been married for 48 years and has two children and one grandchild.

Suzie did her undergrad work at Goshen College and received her Master’s degree in Leadership from Trine University. Both degrees were earned while she worked as a full-time mom and CEO.
