Pillar Four: Unite

At C4One we have four pillars that inform our strategy and community outreach programming. These pillars are what guide everything we do, so we want to take the time to explain each one’s importance to you.

What Does It Mean To Unite?

This month we’re focusing on the Pillar of Unity. At C4One our goal is to be a catalyst to reach unity in the church. We want to help transform our community from seeing itself separated in individual churches to instead being united as one for the “big C” church.

Ephesians 4:11-13

“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers to equip His people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

The pillar of unity is the foundation of much of what we do at C4One and informs how we encourage local leaders and interact with our communities.

Unifying Our Community

As followers of Christ, we are called to build unity with one another and extend that grace and love to our community to grow the “big C” church.

Christ calls us to reach unity in the faith, and this starts with each of us working toward unifying our community through the relationships we already have.  We can do this by celebrating our differences and honoring the similarities we have as children of God.

A fantastic example of this is the annual Global Leadership Summit. With dozens of speakers and hundreds of attendees, we know there are many different backgrounds and perspectives represented.

It’s a way for us to all gather and unite under one goal: to lead our communities and be a catalyst for positive change for the glory of Christ.

Trust God To Unite Us

If we truly trust God to direct us and reveal His truth, then we know He has the ability to unite us as the Church.
