Pillar Three: Inspire

At C4One we have four pillars that inform our strategy and community outreach programming. These pillars are what guide everything we do, so we want to take the time to explain each one’s importance to you.

What Does It Mean To Inspire?

This month we’re focusing on the Pillar of Inspiration. We believe that our power flows directly from God, not ourselves. We can be used by God to inspire others to follow in His footsteps through discipleship, encouragement, and support.

Hebrews 10:24-25

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

The pillar of inspiration is the foundation of much of what we do at C4One and informs how we encourage local leaders and interact with our communities.

Encouraging One Another

When we think of encouraging someone, often we think of more superficial compliments. While letting a friend know you love their new haircut or are proud of their recent success at work is important in relationships, Biblical encouragement goes deeper.

Part of inspiring those around you to grow in their walk with Christ and exhibit Christian leadership within their communities is encouraging them in a way that points out how God is using them. 

Biblical encouragement focuses on lifting someone’s heart toward God, helping them become inspired to keep growing in their faith.

Inspiration Toward Action

If you aren’t sure how to put encouraging and inspiring others into action, start with daily prayer. Ask God to make your church, workplace, and community one that loves each other in specific, tangible ways like encouragement. Ask God to use you to help accomplish this. 

When we encourage and inspire one another, we can take that energy out into our communities and begin to see God moving in ways we never thought possible.

Gather With Other Believers

C4One was created to help you connect with others in your community. There are monthly gathering opportunities for men and women to meet, be inspired by guest speakers, and encourage one another on our journey in Christ.
